My Books with Packt Publications
In my early days as a technology consultant I learned over 200 languages and frameworks on the job. My job was simple.
If a company had a bottleneck, I learned the technology and solved the issue. This forced me to learn new frameworks very quickly.
During that journey, Packt Publication – one of the largest tech publications in the world saw my writing on online forums and approached me for the following books. I chose to write because there were no books available back then, on these frameworks and people who learned them had to literally scavenge help files and source codes.
- MODx Web Development – 2009
- Catalyst 5.8: the Perl MVC Framework – 2010
- MODx Web Development – Second Edition – 2011
One of my IT Professors told me that she needed to publish a paper to complete her PhD.
And at the same time I was reading a book on 802.11 Wireless Protocol. When I was riding to my college, an idea occurred. We penned this down together along with the required mathematical proof. It still amuses me to read this paper. To me it is a reminder of how innovations comes quickly and effortlessly.
